Maasae Girls Lutheran Secondary School (MGLSS), Tanzania

Located in Monduli, Tanzania, a village 45 minutes outside of Arusha, MGLSS is a residential school for girls who have had no opportunity for education beyond the primary school. Girls from conservative tribes are married off at 12 and are mothers by 15. Thanks to MGLSS, these girls are confident young women today who are joining business, education, health care, community development and more.
