PRELUDIO SCHOOL

Preludio is an alternative educational community in which the basic learning strategy is playing games. There are 5 basic skills that we, in Preludio, consider are necessary for coping with real life challenges: communication, thinking skills, creativity, problem solving and community development. We have participated in 3 important projects in which students improve those essential skills in real scenarios. We have  participated in 2 NASA’s contests, one  called CUBES IN SPACE where we had to design an experiment and sent it to the space in a 4×4 cm cube. Also a second one called HERC in which we had to build a rover to go and race in an 800mt track. Finally, we annually organize the biggest TEDx event in Bogotá, Colombia.
