Support
GCEI’s financial support opportunities through gifts and grants are founded on the belief that all young learners merit access to a discovery and learning experience that is fair and aids in preparing them to be a part of an increasingly global community where international mindedness and environmental stewardship are guiding elements.
Financial support of the Mission of GCEI is available and provided in the following ways:
CARD:
One can make a gift of cash conveniently online by credit card.
CHECK:
One can also send a check made out to Global Culture Education Initiative to the below address:
Global Culture Education Initiative

WIRE TRANSFER:
For information, if needed, on how to set up a wire transfer, please contact GCEI via email at info@gcei.net for instructions. Such transfers are made “bank account to bank account” and are normally easy and convenient.
GIFTS OF SECURITIES:
Stocks or other investments that have grown in value can become a substantial gift made at a low net cost to you.
A gift of appreciated stock generally offers two-fold tax savings:
- You avoid paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock.
- You receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift. Your stock generally must have been held long-term (more than one year). The most direct way for you to contribute stock to GCEI is through an electronic transfer (DTC) from your brokerage account to GCEI’s primary account at Charles Schwab & Co, Inc.
GCEI does not hold gifts of stock. All stock gifts will be liquidated upon receipt. If you would like to donate a gift of stock to the GCEI, it is important that we are notified of the details prior to the transfer so that we may receive and process the gift in a timely manner as well as accurately identify, allocate and acknowledge your gift.
